Whoa Davao!

Just came back from another fabulous trip with i and the whoa! gang. We always seem to get lucky with our trips. We have ridiculously low budgets yet we always seem to find the best places. This time we went to Davao. A friend of ours, DJ BI (He's really good by the way. You guys might want to hire him for your events. Haha!) was hired to spin at Metro Lounge in Davao for a party called Traffic Light (It was a real trip this event, but that's another blog altogether). Anyway, being the groupies that we were, we decided to tag along. The first night we were lucky because we got to stay in Microtel for free, thanks to the organizers who got them as their sponsors!

The next day though, we wanted to go to the beach (Valentine's day is also i's boyfriend's birthday and his request was to celebrate by the beach) so we went to Samal Island. We did a lot of research finding the perfect resort for this trip and boy did we pick the perfect one. Not only was it gorgeous, it was actually pretty cheap, especially if you're with a big group. I've been struggling over whether to share the place or not since we are pretty greedy. We love the place so much that we want to keep it from everyone so that it remains fairly unknown and we can keep on coming back. But... that wouldn't be very nice of us so here you go.... we went to Leticia by the Sea. It's a resort in Samal Island and when you stay there, you pay for the entire island. So basically we had the whole place to ourselves. And I tell you... it was unbelievable. The photos speak for themselves.
