Why is it that when we hear foreigners with accents speak in English we generally find it sexy? We get all giddy and "kilig" hearing them talk. Like when a French guy friend talks to me, I find that everything he says is suddenly oh so sexy. Like he's out to seduce me, even if he's just asking me to pass the water. But when Filipinos talk with an accent, we laugh. We call them barok and we laugh at their "p" and "f" syndrome. I don't know the answer but I do know that I too am guilty of this. In my defense however, I don't have anything against people who can't speak English. We are Filipinos anyway, so Filipino should be our primary language. What gets me into a hysterical laughing fit is when people try too hard to speak in English, then fail miserably. Just like these next 3 videos...
