I was reading Pinoy Gossip Boy, and my eyes literally fell out of their sockets when I read that Claudine Barretto is pairing up with Richard Gutierrez! Say it isn't so!
Brief background. I used to be, well still am, a BIG fan of Claudine Barretto sans the uni-brow. I've seen all of her movies, ogled at her flawless, over glutathione-d skin, and yes, I even copied a haircut once.
I was a bit disappointed when she transferred to GMA because I somehow knew that she was committing stardom suicide. Was she not the face of ABS-CBN for the longest time? And now I'm even more disappointed after finding out that she's teaming up with a BABY. A baby who only has 2 expressions: eyebrows crossed and eyebrows crossed with a tear. The slow, painful death has begun.
Is this because of the whole cougar thing becoming so popular these days? C'mon GMA, not Claudine!
