Our trip was as magical as the island itself. Literally magic, as we were informed that we would be staying at the villas instead of the smaller rooms we were expecting. They provided us with 5 (I remember 5) palatial villas. Each one having its own unique charm… and not to mention JACUZZI!
Everything on the island was WHITE! I felt like I was in the set of Mamma Mia! I loved how spoiled we were at the resort; riding golf carts everywhere we went, granting silly requests like: “Pahingi ng fork,” even though we didn’t order food, and endlessly cleaning our villa every time we made a mess of the place. It made me a bit paranoid, thinking: “Do they know that we only paid _,000 bucks for our 3-day stay? Because they’re treating us like rock stars!”
Our three days were spent mostly in the pool of Jacuzzi. Haha! Most of us didn’t even want to go island hopping because the villas were already a sight too see. I’ve never heard so many simultaneous WHOOOAAAs coming from people. Bellarocca was heaven, and, none of us wanted to leave.
Since I knew that staying there again would cost an arm and a leg without R’s HUGE discount, I was sure I wasn’t going back anytime soon. I think the thought depressed me a lot that I started a 20-pound binge-fest, making me beach-unworthy.
But seriously, how could some people prefer to plan a trip abroad and not see every single beautiful place our country has to offer? I admit, I haven’t been to a lot of places here, but I’ve been to enough. Enough to say that tourism in the country needs improvement. What the hell guys? Hoy! Gising! Tarsiers, virgin islands, dugogs, perfectly-shaped volcanos, cold weather n the philippines, hand-made staircases, tribes, stinky but delicious fruits!!!! *BREATHE* Ano vah.
Anyway, to make up of the binge-fest, N and I have been going to the gym. Losing weight slowly (very slow) but almost worthy to hit the beach once more. Next stop: Davao and Palawan.
