Yesterday, after finding out that the couch N wanted from Bo was already sold, N asked me if I wanted to go to Space Encounters and check out the stuff. As usual, I wasn't prepared and forgot my camera at home.
I thought the place was really cool! The pieces were so funky that it made me want to move out of our house and get a new apartment so I could decorate it. They had all the things that I wanted for my dream modern retro house.
See what I mean?

Before this trip I told Nic that I wanted to buy something nice but completely useless. I've been trying to spend my money wisely for the past few days and it has been so hard. I knew that one useless purchase would finally put me at ease... Ang guess what I found...
Probably one of the coolest watches I've ever seen! And just as I was about to buy it, I thought I'd look around one last time. And I'm happy I did because... Guess what I found...
*GASP*
A wind-up vintage alarm clock! With a pin up girl on it! I was love! I knew it wasn't totally useless, but I knew I didn't have a need for it! I had to have it. So I bought it. For 950 bucks I thought the clock was still worth it. I can't stop looking at it.
Thor noticed my amusement for pin up girls and showed me his stash of pin up girl canvases. He's a big fan of them too. I told him I'd save up money and have a little foot stool/sewing kit made using that pin up girl printed fabric. Hopefully in the near future.
As soon as I was broke I was ready to leave. Nic was done discussing his bed and couch with Wilmer too. Before leaving they gave us super cool notebooks! Yay! I love this place!
Coolness. More notebooks!
Yes, R, we will visit Space Encounters again.
i hate you. we won't have the same "virgin" eyes anymore. dammit. -r
