N is back home! He flew in last night. My diet has officially ended. We ate at Andok's for breakfast. It's good to have you back, N.

To officially start (and end, as nothing can beat this) my birthday celebration, N gave me an... Oh my God... It can't be...An iPapapapapad...

I have yet to discover the capabilities of this baby. It's so weird looking at a giant iPhone. Will make time for it later. Only essentials for now. And that means Word With Friends and We Rule.

Thank you, N! I'm off to get your birthday gift!!! Hehe. Woops. You're way too early, and I'm way too late. Opposites attract! I love you!

Ladies and gentlemen, meet iPed Tech (pronounced as 'tets')

I got all excited reading i's blog about our Christmas splurge. Last year we did all sorts of things to make extra money and we did agree that this year, whatever extra we earn from our extra curricular activities, we would splurge on ourselves. I was already dead set on buying my Michael Kors bag since I was being realistic. How can I possibly earn enough extra money to buy... a birkin let's say, when we don't even bother to move our butts to earn anything? So I said, an MK bag is at least a realistic goal. But, seeing i change her mind over, and over (and over!) again on what she wants to get for herself, made me doubt what it was I really wanted. So now, I have just spent an hour browsing the net looking for something I want for myself. And damn you i, now I'm all confused!!!

Marc Jacobs bag - looks all cool and functional

Last year, R and I were able to earn some Christmas money to buy gifts for N and F. This year, we are saving up to buy Christmas gifts for ourselves. Haha!

Originally, I was aiming for an Anuschka bag:

I can look at them all day.

But then I realized that I don't really get to use most of my bags. I end up using only a few favorites. So now I'm thinking of just getting these since I've always wanted to buy a pair of decent sandals (from Hasbeens or Seychelles).

Swedish Hasbeens. Ultra cool. Merry Christmas!

Ok, I said in an earlier blog we were still undecided on what to do for Holy Week. Based on that earlier blog, the only thing we were able to stick to in part was the sleeping. And the amount of sleep and laziness involved in that wouldn't even constitute as "slothiness" (?!), katamaran for lack of a better word... Instead, we did something different this holiday, we went on a very special road trip with very special people. No plans, just a 2 day getaway. Let the road take us where it may. And it was fabulous.

What we did this weekend will always and forever be one of the best things we did for Holy Week. Revelations were made that I never would have found out if not for this little trip of ours that I will be forever grateful for. So for the 3 people that were with me on this little life journey that we had... thank you.

and thank you my little bottle of chardonnay(s) for getting the ball rolling

I am obsessed with these things! I download and make presets every time I'm bored. This morning I downloaded and made some cool Photoshop Actions. Now I have all sorts of vintage effects for my photos. Nothing beats the thrill of shooting photos from my lomos but these actions are pretty cool too.

Here are my favorite vintage actions:
